Every three months we hold a sidewalk $1 Sale, where each item offered is just one dollar. These are items ladies brought for consignment, we chose not to consign, but they never picked up their returns. You can get some great stuff for a song! Cash only.
$1 Sales are held from
9:30-10:30am on the last Saturday of each calendar quarter. Check the calendar
on our Home Page for specific upcoming dates. Donations to St. Vincent de Paul
Anything not sold on the
$1 Sale will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Charities. Sadly, our back hall Charity Rack has been discontinued It’s always sad when the bad actions of a few spoil something for the many. Since Katrina we’ve been offering the Back Hall Boutique, a charity rack where clients of many social service agencies around town have been able to choose up to 10 free garments per visit. Unfortunately, we’ve had several instances where some clients have taken advantage and taken clothing not in the Back Hall Boutique. The most recent incident was just a few days after the new owner took over, and led to her decision to discontinue the Back Hall Boutique. The original owner completely supports this decision, and would have done the same thing. We can’t take any chances a consignor’s property would be stolen.
